Our Mission

Vision

A magical, welcoming, accessible, and well-maintained lakefront park where all people can relax and play side-by-side.

Goal

To realize the recommendations of the Stewart Park Rehabilitation Action Plan and restore Stewart Park, for the park’s centennial in 2021 and beyond.

Friends of Stewart Park’s mission is to enhance, revitalize and maintain Stewart Park and the Cayuga Waterfront Trail, in partnership with the City of Ithaca and park stakeholders, for the enjoyment of Ithaca residents and visitors to our community.
