Stewart Park is open from dawn to dusk throughout the year and is always free to all.

You can visit Stewart Park by bus, foot, bike, car or paddlecraft.

Accessible Playground

The Stewart Park Playground is a state-of-the-art inclusive playscape, allowing children and caregivers of all abilities to play side by side. Climb, spin, slide, swing & PLAY!

Stewart Park Carousel

Opened in 1952, the Carousel is open from 11am-7pm Tuesdays through Sundays, as well as on holidays that fall on Mondays. It is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Waterfront Trail

Stroll, jog or roll along the trail as you explore Stewart Park and beyond! The Park is the northeastern terminus of, with access to over 8 miles of smooth path around the Cayuga Lake inlet.

Walk a loop around the “swan pond” to get this view of the beautiful shingle-sided Cascadilla Boathouse, a building listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The recently restored Picnic Pavilion (large pavilion) may be rented out for ceremonies, celebrations, and casual events. in summer.

The Pier

Renwick Wildwood

The lovely open air Tea Pavilion (small pavilion) was rebuild in 2013 in the original 1894 design. The Pavilion can be rented in summer.

Linger above the lake at the end of the park’s pier as you enjoy your book, lunch, sunset, or the sounds of waves and laughter.

The mulched trails of Renwick Wildwood bird sanctuary make for a lovely little walk in the woods.
