| | | | We have so many wonderful folks to thank for the last week! Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Ithaca Youth Bureau on Sunday for our first Open House for the Wharton Studio & Café! We were thrilled to share the vision for a new café, exhibit gallery. The project is a collaboration between Wharton Studio Museum, Friends of Stewart Park, and the City of Ithaca. Thanks, also, to the design team who thoughtfully answered questions from the public.
Thanks go out to the CCE Beautification Team for bringing color back to the Flagpole Garden!
And finally, thank you to the volunteers from Ithaca College Park School of Communications who fought gale force winds to collect trash, rake and build new benches! |

| The daffodils are dazzling! A huge thanks to the Ithaca Garden Club and Dr. Bill Miller, Cornell University Professor of Horticulture, and Research Director of Horticulture Section in the School of Integrative Plant Science, who have made our parks and trails spectacular with color! Their Daff-A-Dazzle daffodil project using a unique planting machine given to Cornell’s College of Agriculture by the Dutch bulb company A. Geerlings. City Forester Jeanne Grace and her parks and trail crews have also assisted in this impactful beautification effort. You can support the effort by mailing a check to the Ithaca Garden Club, P.O. Box 4962, Ithaca, NY 14852 or make an online donation at www.ithacagardenclub.org/daff-a-dazzle.html.
