From our Executive Director
As we wrap up another year in Stewart Park, I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together. This year brought so many visible improvements—the new wayfinding signs that help visitors explore the park, the restored Fuertes landscaping and Swan Pond trail, and new benches and picnic tables that invite people to pause and enjoy the view. Just as inspiring, our volunteers contributed more than 400 hours of hands-on work—planting, painting, and caring for this special place.
As we head into the season of giving, I’ve been reflecting on how much Stewart Park means to our community. Every time I walk through the park, I see the results of your care—families enjoying the playground, runners on the trail, volunteers tending gardens, and visitors simply taking in the lake view. It’s a reminder that this park thrives because people like you love it.
If Stewart Park has brightened your year, I hope you’ll consider giving a little back this season. Your gift—no matter the size—helps us keep the park beautiful, safe, and welcoming for everyone, all year long.
Thank you for being part of the community that keeps Stewart Park growing and vibrant.
With appreciation,

Meloney McMurry
Executive Director, Friends of Stewart Park
